    SINGAPORE, November 25, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — China announced that it would extend the scope of its unilateral visa waiver policy to ordinary passport holders of six countries: France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, SpainAnd Malaysia. The policy will be implemented on an experimental basis.

    From December 1, 2023has November 30, 2024people holding ordinary passports of the above-mentioned countries can visit China for business, leisure and transit, visit up to 15 days visa-free. This new policy should facilitate more accessible travel and promote closer links between China and the countries concerned.

    This decision is also expected to promote the recovery of the Chinese inbound tourism market.
