SINGAPORE, April 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ABC Impact, the Singapore-based, Asia-focused impact investing firm, has released its 2025 Impact Review, available at www.abcimpact.com.sg. The review covers the firm’s investment and impact activity across its two funds over the course of 2025, with a focus on portfolio performance, sector developments and the firm’s approach to value creation and impact measurement.
Key portfolio and impact metrics
Across the entire portfolio as of December 31, 2025:
- Total assets under management: approximately USD 900 million
- Capital deployed in Funds I and II: ~ USD 500 million spread across 20 investments
- Five new investments made in 2025
- 2,278,792 tonnes of emissions avoided, 5,420,388 patients affected and 7,849,842 individuals and MSMEs impacted
A year that required careful navigation
In a demanding 2025, ABC Impact has deployed deliberately – focusing on fundamentals rather than cyclical noise. “Changing business dynamics, the disruptive effects of AI on economies and labor markets, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty have made 2025 a year that required careful navigation,” said David Heng, CEO of ABC Impact. “The companies we support respond to structural demand in energy transition, financial access and healthcare, which gives us confidence in their resilience over time. Impact is not a separate consideration: it is part of what makes these companies wise investments.
Goh Yew Lin, Chairman of ABC Impact, highlighted the long-term logic behind the strategy: “In the long term, the most sustainable investment opportunities tend to be those where financial returns and social outcomes move in the same direction.
Asia: structural demand, long-term opportunities
The 2025 review includes an updated assessment of ABC Impact’s geographic and sector priorities. Asia continues to present a distinctive combination of structural demand, demographic scale and fragmented delivery. These are conditions that favor private capital capable of operating in all markets and supporting businesses in the long term. The study examines how these dynamics manifest differently in China, India and Southeast Asia, and how the company’s portfolio is positioned in healthcare, financial inclusion and climate solutions in each context.
Healthcare: a deeper approach
The 2025 review pays particular attention to ABC Impact’s health strategy, the scope of which has expanded in Funds I and II. The portfolio spans integrated provider platforms, dialysis networks, central nervous system (CNS) pharmaceuticals and medical technologies, reflecting a deliberate effort to increase exposure to different parts of the care continuum.
In the Philippines, AC Health, an integrated platform spanning hospitals, clinics, retail pharmacies and pharmaceutical distribution, continued to expand its national presence. The full-year revenue growth of 36% reflects both network expansion and increasing utilization of its provider and pharmaceutical segments, as demand for private healthcare in the Philippines continues to outstrip the capacity of the public system.
In India, DCDC Kidney Care operates one of the largest dialysis networks in the country, conducting more than 110,000 sessions per month in more than 250 centers across 13 states. Its model is anchored in public-private partnerships with public hospitals and provides subsidized access to patients covered by public insurance plans, while a network of free-standing parallel centers serves a broader patient base.
NeuroGen, a CNS-agnostic pharmaceutical platform in China, combines an established portfolio of neurological therapies with an active in-licensing pipeline. With approximately one in three people in China affected by CNS disease, the platform addresses both access and continuity of treatment – areas where domestic pharmaceutical capacity remains essential.
In the area of financial inclusion, Vistaar Finance has disbursed approximately INR 17 billion (~U190 million SD) in CY2025 and manages a loan portfolio of over INR 50 billion (~600 million USD),on the way micro, small and medium enterprises through rural and semi-urban India through a branch-led secured lending model. Around 35% of its customer base comes from rural areas – reflecting both the scale of its distribution and the commercial viability of serving borrowers outside the formal banking system.
Value creation and governance
The review also outlines ABC Impact’s approach to active minority ownership – covering board engagement, ESG and impact action planning, operational support and capital strategy. The company deploys a dedicated technical assistance budget, funded by management fees, to help portfolio companies strengthen their impact measurement and reporting capabilities. A section on governance covers the company’s board structure, investment process and approach to transparency in LP reporting.
