SINGAPORE, December 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Singapore, in partnership with Temasek Foundation, has concluded the fourth edition of #WeGotThis, its regional sustainability incubator program focused on strengthening youth leadership in the areas of climate change, biodiversity, circular economy and sustainable finance through digital advocacy campaigns.
This year’s cycle involved more than 80 young people from Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region, marking the program’s highest participation to date. With participants from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar and the Philippines, and Vietnam, the cohort reflected a diverse representation of young people from Singapore and the region – an encouraging indicator of the growing demand for credible, science-based capacity building in the region.
In the face of increasingly complex environmental challenges, the need for youth-led action backed by science has never been greater. #WeGotThis empowers young leaders to transform complex climate and nature issues into accessible and compelling audience-centered stories that inspire meaningful behavioral and community change. Through credible sustainability knowledge, digital engagement skills and access to WWF’s wider network of experts and partners, the program builds regional capacity to drive positive climate and nature outcomes. These efforts are essential to strengthening public engagement and accelerating the societal changes needed for a climate-resilient and nature-friendly future.
Over the course of its four editions, #WeGotThis has mobilized more than 20 million young people online. This year alone, participants developed nearly 70 campaigns, supported by youth-led in-person engagements across the Asia-Pacific region. Together, these efforts demonstrate the program’s ability to translate digital reach into meaningful impact on the ground. Eighteen campaigns have been shortlisted for the annual #WeGotThis Awards, which recognize excellence in visual storytelling, community engagement and overall campaign design.
Additionally, the 2025 edition introduced an in-person immersion program, offering selected youth the opportunity to present their campaigns to sustainability experts, industry leaders and potential collaborators during this year’s At One Impact Week.
“Our next generation of environmental leaders is one of the most powerful driving forces for climate and nature action,” said Vivek Kumar, Director General of WWF-Singapore. “Their clear purpose, combined with their creativity, has the ability to mobilize communities and inspire hope. #WeGotThis equips young people across the Asia-Pacific region with the knowledge, confidence and storytelling skills to lead change in their communities. This effort is at the heart of WWF’s 2030 Roadmap – our commitment to reverse nature loss, prevent extinction and halve the environmental footprint of how we produce and consume.
“The Temasek Foundation is proud to have supported #WeGotThis over the past four years. This year’s record turnout shows the growing determination of young people to lead climate action across the region. Their informed, creative and community-focused campaigns demonstrate the difference young people can make when given the right knowledge and opportunities. said Tan Shin Gee, Senior Director, Programs, Temasek Foundation.
Graduates join a growing regional alumni network that continues to collaborate on campaigns, outreach initiatives and future program cycles, amplifying the program’s reach beyond each cohort. With growing interest across the Asia-Pacific region, WWF-Singapore aims to continue growing #WeGotThis as a leading platform for youth-led climate and nature advocacy.
