What’s in the custom artisan hats at a luxury resort on the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc?

Nestled on the white sands of the west coast of Phu Quoc Island, Regent is a luxury resort with a multi-sensory experience, honored in many prestigious international travel magazines. A pioneer in hotel design, Regent has launched its first hotels with a bold, powerful beauty that captures the imagination and sets new standards in luxury hospitality.

At Regent, the space, kitchen and amenities have been carefully designed for extraordinary bespoke experiences, with bespoke services provided by staff trained to anticipate every need. Regent personalizes every experience and takes exquisite care of every little detail, ensuring that every moment here is one to be savored and guests can spend their time doing what really matters.

To take personal experiences to the next level, Regent has custom handmade raffia hats produced by the Artisanal Fashion Company, which are placed in each hotel room. These washable raffia hats are known to be from the same company as the Leinné brand, where raffia hats cost a few million to several tens of millions of dong. Some limited editions can reach several hundred million dong.

The reason Leinné’s designs command such a high price is because most of the crafting is done by hand. The brand has a wide range of raffias in different quality grades per product line, along with expert craftsmanship and exclusive raffia processing techniques, which keep the product delicate and durable. Leinné’s hat designs are loved by lovers of sustainable fashion and eco-living such as Helly Tong, Tang Thanh Ha, Diem My 9x,… That’s enough to see how generous and thoughtful Regent offers its customers a first-class experience.

    Making the custom hats

Regent embraces heritage and contemporary beauty to redefine the future of luxury. The resort’s architecture echoes and reflects traditional Vietnamese vernacular, and the design maximizes access to the surroundings with floor-to-ceiling glass windows framing captivating ocean views and interior spaces with decadent accents that reference a tropical setting.

With that in mind, Regent chose Leinné’s artisan hats as a fashion touchpoint. Every detail on the hat has been carefully crafted to fully convey the Regent spirit and reflect the harmony between classic and modern.

Pearl Island Inspiration: the hatband is in celadon blue, the color of the Phu Quoc seawater, enhanced by bold jewel tones.

Thoughtful design: short brim suitable for travel, with a graceful round crown design for women and an elegant fedora crown for men. The hat is designed with a drawstring inside to adjust the size.

Hand-polished gold-plated logo: smooth and glossy, highlighting the beauty and value of the design.

Premium materials: the body of the hat is made of natural raffia with excellent features: UV resistant, moisture resistant, durable, lightweight. The hat band is made of silk from Nha Xa, a traditional artisan village in Vietnam.

What sets Leinné hats apart is that they are handmade by highly skilled craftsmen in the nearly 30-year-old workshop, using a patented technique to ensure the softness and plasticity of the material by preserving gas bonds and porosity in each fiber. As a result, these raffia hat designs can be cleaned, ironed and shaped on site, preserving the beauty of their craftsmanship.

Sustainable values: Leinné hats are made from eco-friendly, biodegradable and highly sustainable materials. Each design is carefully crafted in Leinné’s 25-year-old workshop, demonstrating the highest manufacturing quality for long-lasting use.

Exquisite resort experience with artisan hats

Leinné’s artisan hats have won the favor of customers while on vacation at Regent. It is not difficult to find images of the hats worn in the serenity of Phu Quoc shared by many tourists. The hat, with elegant design and natural materials, harmonizes with Regent’s minimalist interior, open space and cozy light.

The experiences of Artisanal Fashion Company’s factory hats contribute to helping customers resonate the spirit of Regent – sophistication, sustainability, cultural harmony and modern Vietnamese beauty. The mix of sustainable high-end designs that connect the senses, along with a stylish space, makes for a truly opulent experience.
