Hanoi will ban or restrict the movement of certain vehicles on certain streets in the capital on Sunday and Monday on the occasion of US President Joe Biden’s planned state visit to Vietnam.
From noon to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday and from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, trucks and passenger buses (except vehicles on official duty) will be prohibited on the streets of Tay Ho, Ba Dinh and Hoan districts. Kiem, Dong Da, Cau Giay, Nam Tu Liem, Dong Anh, Soc Son and Me Linh.
Personal cars and motorcycles will also be restricted on these streets.
During this period, vehicles heading to localities in the east, southeast and south of the city, as well as provinces such as Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh, will be invited to take the Thanh Tri-Phap Van bridge. .
Vehicles traveling from localities in the east and southeast of the city to the northern areas will have to follow two routes: Highway 5 – Nguyen Van Linh – Ly Son – Dong Tru Bridge – Truong Sa – Hoang Sa – Vo Van Kiet – Highway 2, i.e. Highway 2. 5 – Thanh Tri Bridge – Phu Dong Bridge – Highway 3.
Vehicles traveling from Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam to northern provinces such as Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Thai Nguyen will be diverted to the Phap Van – Phan Trong Tue – Phung Hung – Xa La – Van Phu – detour route. THE. In Tan – Highway 32.
