The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and Canada recently shot down an unidentified object that mysteriously flew over the Canadian border, the second operation in two days. The United States helped by sending its F22 fighter jet to assist in the downing of the unknown aircraft near Yukon after violating restrictions.
It shot down the said object at the cautionary discretion of the country’s military, on guard after a Chinese spy balloon was spotted flying around South Carolina last week.

The US NORAD and Canada recently deployed F-22 fighter jets to track and down an unidentified object flying over the Canadian border in Yukon.
According to the US Department of Defense, there was recently a two-day joint operation between the US and Canada following the discovery of an unknown object flying over the Canadian border. US NORAD helped monitor the incident along with its F-22 fighter jets, the critical aircraft in the operations.
The decision to knock down the said object was on the advice of the heads of the defense agencies, Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III and Defense Secretary Anita Anand.
It followed a phone call between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Joe Biden that led to the appointment of the F-22 jets to monitor the plane three days earlier.
The F-22 used AIM 9X missiles to shoot down said object. PM Trudeau recently released a statement via tweet confirming operations with NORAD.

Operations against flying unidentified objects
Recently, US authorities also shot down an unidentified cylindrical object after it flew into Alaskan airspace, which is now on the road to recovery in the middle of winter.
The investigations would look into what happened to determine who or what is behind these flights and learn more about the rising cases.
Airspace Restrictions and Defense
Last week, the US military and its core were shocked when an unidentified object flew through its airspace, most notably the infamous Chinese “spy balloon”, which was recently tracked by the Pentagon.
Soon the country focused on defensive measures and shot down this bizarre, bizarre object in the air.
The balloon flew over sensitive military sites in the country, deeming it a violation of airspace and defense, and ordered its closure.
The US Navy has already shared photos of the downed balloon, further exacerbating tension between the US and China over retaliation during the incident.
A series of unidentified objects are now popping up in various locations across the North American region and defense agencies are already investigating the phenomenon. These recent NORAD-Canada joint operations recently sent out F-22s for three days, aiming to country against unknown threats.
