    As travel continues to make its return in most parts of the world, leading digital travel brand Booking. com announces the recipients of its eleventh annual Traveler review awards, including the 2023 most hospitable places on Earth and in Vietnam. Based on a pool of more than 240 million verified customer reviews on Booking.com, the Traveler Review Awards recognize travel providers from 220 countries and territories, including Vietnam, for their commitment to providing consistently outstanding service and hospitality throughout the year.

    The most hospitable cities of 2023 in Vietnam

    For 2023, Booking.com has unveiled the most welcoming cities in Vietnam, so travelers can experience the best in hospitality and friendliness for an unforgettable travel experience. Beach cities remain the most favored destination for vacations, with 6 out of 10 cities being beach destinations.

    Most hospitable accommodation types in Vietnam

    Hotels continue to rank as the most awarded accommodation type in Vietnam, with 4190 partners recognized for their efforts. Apartments claim second place with 1587 accommodations awarded, followed by host families (1467), guesthouses (411) and aparthotels (439).

    Globally, for the sixth year in a row, apartments are ranked as the most awarded real estate type, with a total of 629,421 partners recognized for their efforts, followed by vacation homes, hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfasts making the top five.

    Warm and welcoming staff is the secret to a happy traveler

    When it comes to the different aspects of the stay that Vietnamese travelers valued most in the awarded accommodations, friendly staff (8.9) followed by comfort (8.7), cleanliness (8.7) and place (8.7) received the highest score. Where the for money (8.6) the property remained important in the minds of travelers along with services offered (8.5)
