With an infrastructure design in line with Uptime Tier III standards and technologies that optimize performance and high availability, this data center will play a key role in providing infrastructure and security solutions for both VNG’s customers and business demand.

It is known that at the beginning of the year is another “big man” Viettel, who closed the plan to build the largest data center in Vietnam with a total capital of up to 6,000 billion VND. These are the contents of the Investment Memorandum of Understanding between Viettel and Hoc Mon and Cu Chi Districts signed at the Hoc Mon and Cu Chi District Investment Promotion Conference.

Accordingly, Viettel will guide to promote the digital transformation of the two places in the fields of digital infrastructure, digital government, digital economy and digital society.

In terms of digital infrastructure, Viettel will invest in 4G and 5G infrastructure by 2025 to cover broadband services for 100% of the population and fiber infrastructure for 100% of households.

Until now, Vietnam has more than 20 data centers in major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Binh Duong, Can Tho… Nearly 30 Vietnamese enterprises provide data centers and clouds such as Hanoi Telecom, FPT, CMC, Vietnam IDC…

Back to VNG Data Center, which not only enables companies to manage information technology systems, but also supports and responds to new business opportunities. Initially, VNG Data Center will supply 410 racks (servers installed), then expand to 1,600 racks.
