Samsung is preparing a new entry in its long line of rugged smartphones. We’ve seen the Galaxy Xcover 5 before, both in various certifications, as well as in some leaks.
The phone is expected to go official at some point this month, and it is rumored to sell for between € 289 and € 299 in Europe. It will be offered in a single color, the one you can see in the new renderings below, which Samsung calls Graphite Black.

The Xcover 5 is said to sport a 5.3-inch 720×1480 LCD touchscreen, covered in Gorilla Glass 6. The phone will be IP68 water and dust resistant as well as MIL-STD 810G certified to withstand extreme elements. .
It is powered by the Exynos 850 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Both SIM cards are supported. On the back you get a 16 MP f / 1.8 camera with an LED flash, while on the front there’s a 5 MP snapper for selfies. The battery is 3000mAh, with support for 15W charging. The Xcover 5 runs Android 11. The dimensions of the handset are 147.1 x 71.6 x 9.2mm and it weighs 172g.
