Google Arts and Culture recently has introduced a special project. They used the virtual technology to duplicate Vietnamese Wonders.
With beautiful beaches, green sightseeing, diverse cuisine, and dynamic culture setting, Vietnam has been able to convince foreign visitors and please them. In only a year 2019, Vietnam has welcomed about 18 millions foreign visitors. Sadly, that number is decently different right now. And it is one of the reason why duplicating Vietnamese Wonders project of Google Arts and Culture is more meaningful.






Before the global pandemic, Google Arts and Cultures has accompanied the Departments of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh, Quang Nam, Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang and the photographer winning several awards of National Geographic Tran Tuan Viet to record the most beautiful shots of Vietnam. And these sources of photos and videos are the main “ingredient” for this project of Google Arts and Culture.

This project is a prestigious project for the entire world, especially during the time that travel is prohibited and restricted. Vietnamese Wonders is the new collection of Google Arts and Culture, which introduces 1.369 beautiful photographs about Vietnamese famous cultural and historic destination, Vietnamese environement, and Vietnamese culture and cuisine of the middle region of the nation.
Obviously, nothing can compared to a physical experience of travelling. But during this complicated period of the global pandemic, not all of us can do so. Below are the 5 five things you can experience with the new project of Google Arts and Culture – Vietnamese Wonders.
Biggest and deepest cave in the world
Besides wonderful pictures and scenes of Son Doong Cave and Phong Nha Cave, you can also be surpised by the exisiting underwater river that you can do kayak. Also, Son Doong Cave will surprise you by its distinct climate and environmental setting. The combination of water and light is so beautiful.


Ancient and prehistoric performance of Hue Royal Music





Royal Music has been a tradition of tourism in Hue. It was the popular custom of Vietnamese empire during the 15th and 20th centuries. These photos perfectly reflected the beauty of royal customs and the classy performance of Royal Music.

With color filters made by Google Arts and Culture, you can observe Vietnam through the lens of a colors’ party: a beautiful red rugby of ancients temples alongside the greenness of paddy fields in Hoi An or the green cover of Banh Nam. Those color mixed perfectly and created a wonderful party of colors.

Lantern festival in Hoi An

In order to celebrate Lunar New Year in Vietnam, we welcome you all to the special Lantern Festive happening annually in Hoi An. This special event has a history of more than 400 years.
You will able to learn about how Hoi An local people make their lanterns from bamboo and then decorate these lanterns with beautiful cover made from silks. You can also approach to the custom of releasing lantern on the river which is trusted to bring you luck, love, happiness and health.
