Xiaomi unveiled three Redmi K40 phones earlier this week. Or did you do it? If you only look at the screen and the camera, there is only one phone. If you look at the chipset, there are two phones. Redmi K40 series highlights features and differences in infographic form All three K40 phones use the same 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display (an E4 panel). It impresses with a 360Hz touch sample rate…

The Samsung Galaxy F62 became available in India on Monday, and then a few days later it became clear that the model would go global as the M62. Samsung Thailand even listed all the official specs for the M-series variant (unsurprisingly, this is a carbon copy). We don’t know the global prices, but in India the F62 starts at INR 24,000 ($ 330 / € 270). Which, judging by last week’s poll, is a bit too high for convenience – most voters love the phone, but think it’s a bit too expensive. Some forward-looking people have pointed out that the…

In a thorough investigation by a German security firm, Exodus, the popular LastPass password manager app was found to collect and send personal information about subscribers using the Android app. It does this using seven different built-in trackers. While LastPass allows you to disable these trackers, the very existence of the built-in software could pose a security risk to users. Trackers collect data such as device information, mobile operator, LastPass account type, and Google Advertising ID used to connect user data across other apps and platforms. Four of these trackers are for Google analytics and bug reporting, while the others…

Last year, Motorola’s iconic Moto 360 smartwatch powered by Wear OS made a comeback, but it was made by one of Motorola’s partners – eBuyNow. And it looks like the two companies are expanding their partnership by bringing in three more Moto-branded smartwatches later this year. In a presentation showing the roadmap for future devices, we can see a Moto G smartwatch slated for release in June, and as the name suggests, we’re probably looking for a low-budget device. A circular design is handy with two physical buttons on the side. If all goes according to plan, we should see…

As rumors surrounding the Find X3 series continue to gain the upper hand in the news section, today’s one suggests when the flow of leaks will likely end. And it’s March 11th. Oppo has said it plans to announce its flagship Find X3 family sometime in March and the leaked poster looks like the real thing. He is scheduling an event for March 11 at 7:30 p.m. local time. This is probably a Chinese event that we are talking about, so a world event will follow shortly thereafter. However, the X3 Pro and the appropriate X3 will be the real…
