Samsung released the One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold yesterday, and now the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G gets the latest version of Samsung’s custom Android skin.
Samsung does not say in which countries it is installing One UI 3.1, but it has detailed the changes made by the update to the foldable smartphone.
With One UI 3.1, multitasking becomes easier on the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, as users can now quickly switch back to three previously opened multi-active windows on the main screen via the Recents tab, while also being able to bring two Multis. -Windows active from main screen to cover screen.

You can also open a multiple window directly from the notifications in the quick panel now by long pressing on the appropriate notification and then drag and drop it on the screen. Also, notifications in the quick panel are now categorized and you can quickly switch between different media controls in the quick panel with swipe gestures.

With One UI 3.1, Samsung syncs the weather widgets on the main and cover screens to deliver the same information to users while allowing them to turn off those screens with a double-click or a touch of the palm.
Samsung has also made some improvements to the Camera app. It now allows you to adjust the position of the controls when shooting in Flex mode, which also has the Delete and Share buttons in the preview window.

Plus, when making video calls in Flex mode, you can fill the top half of the screen with the video of the person on the other end.

In addition to all these improvements, Samsung has updated the Light and Dark themes on the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G with One UI 3.1 and redesigned the vertical volume slider to reduce visual clutter on the screen.
