    At the 2023 Supercomputing Innovation and Applications Conference held in Guangzhou on December 6, the Guangzhou National Supercomputing Center, in collaboration with WOW Technology Holdings (jointly with the Joint Research Institute International on Scientific and Technological Innovation of Sun Yat-sen University of Hong Kong), Guangdong Unicom, China Mobile Internet, Pengcheng Laboratory, Guangdong Public Resources Trading Federation, Guangzhou Trading Group, HKUST Research Institute Fok Ying Tung and Macao Chong Wa Technology Innovation and Development Promotion Association officially launched the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao supercomputing application. Internet interconnection. Together, these 14 organizations are committed to building a national-level technological innovation platform, supporting the national IT network construction strategy, providing supreme IT and network services for the high-quality development of Guangdong Province and the Greater Bay Area, and establish a solid foundation. basis of the century-old project to usher in the era of the IT economy in the Bay Area.

    WOW Technology Holdings Group, founded by two Hong Kong-born entrepreneurs in the 1990s, Bonathan Cheung and Kitson Shum, collaborated with Sun Yat-sen University and the National Supercomputing Guangzhou Center to establish Sun Yat-sen Hong University Kong International Science and Joint Research Institute of Technological Innovation and Nansha Branch of National Supercomputing Guangzhou Center (Hong Kong). Drawing on technical support from Sun Yat-sen University and the National Supercomputing Guangzhou Center, the initiative aims to address the lack of computing power in Hong Kong by establishing the first cross-border intelligence computing integration center artificial. WOW Technology will launch an artificial intelligence application platform targeting domestic and international markets. It will integrate more than a hundred algorithmic products, led by Sun Yat-sen University and National Supercomputing Guangzhou Center, covering various fields such as fintech, renewable energy, biomedicine, smart cities, atmospheric sciences and oceans, astronomy and geography. This cross-border international artificial intelligence platform, the National Supercomputing Guangzhou Center and its more than 20 sub-centers, will continue to collaborate to develop more algorithms suitable for different markets and industries, forming a domestic and international sales network.
