With the theme of “Intelligent Connectivity, Inspirational Cities”, this year’s conference is aimed to promote global exchange and cooperation, and enhance the common welfare of mankind. More than 10 AI chips, as well as innovative products brought by more than 300 major AI companies, will be shown at the conference, which will last to Saturday.
According to the latest report of Euronews, the field of AI can now aid doctors to address the health problems of their patients in a more advanced way. Particularly, the presence of the innovative equipment has not only helped in the additional tasks of the healthcare personnel, but also paved the way for a more efficient diagnosis and treatment of a disease.
The eye-catching features of AI have caught the attention of many global companies to invest in it, especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to hit many countries.
The lack of a good healthcare system worsened the problem, and this only contributed to the decline of the overall healthcare quality.
Now with the intervention of AI, China eyes to be one of the leading countries that focuses on the AI-focused medical campaign. It is expected that it will be staged by 2030.

At the moment, the United States remains top-notch in the field of AI healthcare. On the other hand, regulations have been imposed on AI by the European Union (EU) since the organization believes that people’s privacy and security should remain a priority.

AI Helps Doctors Ease Their Loads
“With the assistance of AI, doctors will be able to get away from the tedious work of screening analysis and concentrate on the diagnosis of difficult cases,” Diyingjia Technology Co., Ltd Medical Liaison Manager Lin Mingzhen said.
Another innovation that was brought during the World AI Conference was a bone marrow cytomorphology analysis system called Morphogo.
According to ZhiWei Information Technology Co.Ltd, it would only take a single day for the patient to know the results via a diagnosis. It is a big boost compared to the traditional method that could last for up to 10 days.
Yang Chuhu, ZhiWei’s chief operating officer said that China is home to areas that seem to be unreachable by many people. The company came up with the idea to help those who are living in remote areas who cannot afford to pay expensive hospital fees.
Moreover, Chuhu added that not only China is experiencing the healthcare crisis concerning people living in far-flung locations. The problem is shared with some countries in the world where the majority belong to the third-world category.
Besides the above-mentioned innovations, an AI-focused gastrointestinal endoscopy was also introduced during the event.
The Booming AI Health Market
CGTN reported that at the end of last year, over 1,100 companies have been working to create an AI application.
Indeed, the medical field has been improving in China, and it is expected that more technologies will come in the next few years in the country.
