Promote electronic payment with the consumer voucher system and the daily raffle
With the rollout of the second tranche of the consumer voucher program, the HKTDC is encouraging exhibitors to adopt electronic payment methods to streamline transactions and enable a more convenient and efficient shopping experience for the public.
THE “Lucky Drawwill take place daily during the exhibition period with prizes including hotel accommodation and buffet vouchers, household items, skin care products, gourmet meals, health products and fitness classes. Spending HK$200 or more on a single receipt entitles visitors to enjoy entry into the sweepstakes, with a maximum of five entries per receipt. The HKTDC promotional website, “Good August buy“, continues to help the public keep up to date with the latest shopping information, various flash sales, “HK$1” offers and more than 160 shopping coupons will be offered.
E-tickets are available for sale at AlipayHK, Alipay (ticketing partner of HKTDC), which offers 3 HK$ and 3 Rmb discount for each transaction. Other outlets include the 01 Space e-ticketing platform, all 7-11 and Circle K convenience stores, and through the Octopus app. Physical ticket sales for August exhibitions will not be available at the exhibition grounds. Instead, toll booths will be set up at the entrance to allow visitors to use their AlipayHK, Alipay or Octopus card for admission instantly. The HKTDC has also extended discounted morning and evening admission tickets for the public to visit exhibits during off-peak hours on designated dates.
