The wiring of the hard of a control panel can be a process with a high intensity of time, subject to errors and expensive – especially in the markets where the rapid customer decisions and fast delivery are crucial to maintain a competitive advantage. As a manufacturer who has known these challenges, Volga was well placed to conduct a time study comparing traditional wiring methods to the new Ethernet / IP conflict solution. The results: a reduction of 66% of the wiring time, alongside a panel fingerprint by 36% smaller and a reduction of 32% weight.

During the test, the Volga engineering team assembled two identical control panels. Panel 1, using conventional hard wiring, has taken more than 20 hours. Panel 2, using the Internet / IP solution in the adaptation solution, was completed in less than 7 hours.
