Vision International Holdings Limited (“International Vision“and its subsidiaries, together, the “Band“, stock code: 8107) is pleased to announce that the Group has concluded a framework cooperation agreement (the “Framework cooperation agreement“) with Kunming Shanghai Film Dian Mian Cinema Management Co., Ltd.* (Kunming Shanghai Film Dian Mian Cinema Management Co., Ltd., on “Kunming Shanghai Film“) and Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema Management Co., Ltd. *(Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema Management Co., Ltd., the “Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema“), under which the Group will provide a marketing solution to Kunming Shanghai Film and Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema by leveraging its supply chain management solution, for the purpose of product promotion with cooperating cinemas, providing a solution for peripheral product promotion and film promotion events in Kunming Shanghai Film and Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema.
Kunming Shanghai Film and Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Shanghai Film Co., Ltd. (“SFC”, stock code: 601595), which is listed on the Shanghai A-share market. SFC’s main activities include the distribution and exhibition of films, the exploitation and sale of copyrights, the operation of theater and cinema chains, as well as the investment, development and operation of cinemas and cultural facilities, among others. Kunming Shanghai Film operates the Kunming Xicheng (昆明西城) IMAX branch of SFC Cinema City in Kunming, Yunnan province. Guiyang Hai Shang Cinema operates the Yunshangfangzhou (雲上方舟) branch of SFC Cinema City in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province.
Vision International has been involved in supply chain management for many years, primarily serving the apparel industry. By entering into a patent service contract with the service provider, the Group has been granted the right to use the associated patents. The new anti-counterfeiting, traceability and marketing functions have strengthened the competitiveness of the Group’s SCM services and have been successfully extended to other sectors, notably food products.
