SINGAPORE – Media OutReach – October 3, 2023 – UOB is the first bank in Singapore to trial Microsoft 365 Copilot, a productivity tool based on generative artificial intelligence (generative AI).
Under the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Access Program (EAP), UOB will begin using Microsoft 365 Copilot in October 2023. 300 employees across several frontline and back-end business functions of the bank will gradually gain access to Microsoft’s new AI innovation. Staff working in functions such as branch offices, customer service, technology and operations will be able to use Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve productivity, accessibility and collaboration in a secure way.

Participating UOB employees can access Microsoft 365 Copilot for one year after starting EAP, during which they will receive support from a global center of excellence and the Microsoft Customer Success team. UOB understands the potential of integrating generative AI into the bank’s daily operations.
