Booking.com Announces Long-Term Strategic Partnership with Klook, Giving Travelers Direct Access to Klook Attractions on Booking.com

Booking.com, one of the world’s leading digital travel companies, and Klook, Asia’s leading travel and experience platform, have announced a long-term strategic partnership that will allow travelers to access Klook attractions directly on Booking.com.

Globally, the new partnership will connect travelers on the go with easy, seamless access to an even wider range of attractions and things to do, all bookable instantly with a few taps on Booking.com.

Klook, the category leader for experiences in Asia, is the latest attraction partner to integrate with Booking.com. Klook experiences are now live in over 175 cities, in over 30 markets on Booking.com, with most of these available in Asia and Oceania.

Through this partnership with Klook, travelers can expect a wide choice of tours, activities and attractions. In Vietnam, some of the most popular attractions for tourists on the Booking.com site are (1) Mekong Delta Tour with Vinh Trang Pagoda, Rowboat Ride & Local Lunch, (2) Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Small Group Tour, and (3 ) Ha Long Bay – 6 hours on a luxury cruise: kayaking, swimming and hiking.

Travelers who want to explore Vietnam can also book some unique local experiences such as: Street Food and Scooter City tour in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Sunset and Night Squid Fishing Boat Trip, Hoi An City Tour with Lantern Making Class, Mud Bath at Hon Tam Island in Nha Trang.

Matthias Schmid, SVP for Booking.com’s Trips Division, commented: “This year was an important year for travel. Borders are opening, restrictions are being relaxed and travelers are traveling again – demonstrating more enthusiasm and strength than ever before. Because everyone is eager to make the most of every opportunity, experiences are more important than ever. They make a trip special, meaningful and above all unforgettable. What a time to partner with Klook, a well-known, highly respected name for travel and experiences, particularly in the Asia-Pacific, where this new partnership will greatly expand our coverage and offerings within the region. We are very excited about this partnership and all the new attractions and experiences we can now offer.”

Wilfred Fan, Chief Commercial Officer, Klook, commented: “We are excited to partner with Booking.com and connect their user base to the amazing and unique experiences the Asia-Pacific region has to offer. Cross-border travel in Asia-Pacific is just getting off the ground, and this partnership will enable our merchants to reach an even larger customer demographic globally and accelerate travel recovery in the region.”

As the global travel renaissance continues at a rapid pace, the Booking.com platform connects millions of customers to a multitude of attractions around the world. By supporting the restoration of museums, tours and other activities, it also helps support the local communities that so often depend on them. Travelers can just visit the Attractions tab on Booking.com to book an attraction or experience. Any tour or activity operator interested in the Klook partnership with Booking.com can contact Klook at https://merchant.klook.com/introduction.

In addition to Klook, Musement and Viator are already partnering with Booking.com to provide travelers worldwide with an unparalleled choice of high-quality experiences from trusted providers, particularly in North American and European markets. From tours and theme parks to unique local experiences, Booking.com offers the ‘must-dos’ alongside the more niche and offbeat attractions in more than 1,100 destinations.

On Booking.com, travelers can arrange every part of their trip in one go, from renting a car, arranging a local tour to booking the perfect stay, whether that be a beachfront holiday home, a traditional ryokan , a five-star hotel or a city apartment for a weekend away. Travel planning has never been easier.
