Tourists who flocked to Da Lat to travel in the summer of 2022 increased sharply, on the main roads and famous tourist attractions of the city center, tourists gathered quite a lot.
On June 14, a representative of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Da Lat City (Lam Dong) said that from the beginning of June to now, the total number of visitors to visit and relax in the tourist city of Da Lat is estimated at 500,000, an increase of 22.7 times compared to the same period in 2021.
With domestic tourists estimated at 494,000 arrivals, an increase of 23 times compared to the same period in 2021 (via stay 344,500 visitors). The international number of visitors also started to increase again with 6,000 arrivals, an increase of 13.3 times compared to the same period in 2021.
“The tourism industry of Lam Dong Province has implemented many tourism promotion events, such as the Golden Week of Tourism in Lam Dong. Currently, the city of Da Lat and related units of the tourism industry focus on events to attract tourists from now until the Da Lat Flower Festival in 2022, promote famous landmarks and provide attentive and dedicated services, confirming that Da Lat is always is the most attractive destination in the country” – he emphasizes.
As noted, from Prenn Pass, the gateway to Da Lat, many passenger cars from 29 to 45 seats go to Da Lat to rest and visit famous tourist attractions such as Valley of Love – Dream Hill, City Flower Garden, Langbiang peak, Datanla waterfall, Chai pagoda, Da Lat station… Many main streets in Da Lat city center have also been widened and open, but traffic is heavy even outside the weekend.
Many restaurants, attractions, tourist areas are always crowded, even congested at some eateries.
According to Mr. Tran Men, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Thanh Cong Lam Dong Tourism Joint Stock Company, the number of visitors to Da Lat increases sharply in summer, especially the Valley of Love – Dream Hill tourist area. On average, every day welcomes about 4,000 visitors, the estimated turnover in June is about 24 billion VND.
