Golf is only a sport for the wealthy because the investment cost to experience is not small. In 2021 the average income of Vietnamese workers will be 5.7 million VND/month, it is clear that golf is not for everyone.
In the “golf village” there is also a strong difference in costs. Currently, the north has more than 20 major golf courses (excluding mini-courses and training), of which Van Tri has the highest input cost in Vietnam. The price ranges from 3-9 billion VND depending on the target audience.

According to the price list published on the website in 2021 Vantrigolf.com.vn , the individual membership card is VND 3,075.6 million. Company registration fee for 1 person, 2 person, 3 person respectively is 3,690,720,000 VND, 6,643,296,000 VND, 9,964,944,000 VND. This fee is valid for 25-30 years.
In addition, members must pay an annual fee of approximately VND 52 million. This price includes all taxes, members are not subject to any other taxes.

The golf course’s membership terms also clearly state that members can use the lawn free of charge, but must pay a caddie fee and other service charges (if used). Caddy fee for 18 holes costs VND 700,000/person. The fee for electric vehicles ranges from 520,000-820,000 VND/person.
When you own a membership card, you can guarantee your loved one with the guest price of about 3,300,000 to 4,300,000 VND depending on weekdays or holidays.
Besides Van Tri, some other golf courses with the most expensive input costs in the north can be mentioned such as Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club, the participation costs range from 2-6 billion VND/25 years or Dai Lai Star Golf & Country Club; FLC Samson Golf Links; Golf Yen Dung Resort & Golf Club.
Compared to the rates of other golf courses, it can be seen that the guests who play at Van Tri Golf are considered to be qualified people, belonging to the upper class.
