Most countries of the world are open to international travelers, and Vietnam is not an exceptional country.
As the number of cases worldwide begins to decline, many places have begun to reduce the requirements for visitors to test or go into quarantine. Some countries that were completely closed to foreign tourists have dropped those bans or announced plans to do so.
So far, Vietnam has reopened international air routes to 20 countries and territories, a transportation official said.

The 20 international air routes that have reopened are Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Laos, China, France, Germany, UK, Australia, Russia and the US, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
Eight others to whom air routes have not been resumed include Brunei, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Macau, Finland, Italy and Switzerland, Tran Bao Ngoc, director of the Transport Ministry’s Department of Transport, told reporters at a press conference on 22 December. February.

Vietnam is currently struggling with an increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the country.
On Monday, it recorded more than 2.8 million locally transmitted Covid-19 cases since the start of the current wave in April 2021, the health ministry said.
About 191.7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the country, including 174.9 million injections to people aged 18 and older, the ministry said.
