Performance has marked a highest point in the years of culture initiative this year, a global effort that supports cultural curiosity and strengthens links through international exchanges through social development, heritage, creative industries and innovation.

Maestro Diemecke led more than 70 QPO musicians in a performance described both as “a decisive expression” of the cultural exchange mission of the orchestra and “a powerful symbol of the universality of music”. He was particularly poignant given the previous mandate of Diemecke as Director General General of Teatro Colón from 2017 to 2022, marking his first return to the room.
