TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Media OutReach Newswire – December 26, 2023 – Taipei New Year’s Eve 2024 is almost here! Taipei City Mayor Chiang Wan-an announced that in addition to the main stage at Taipei City Hall Square, four other stages will also be set up where a diversity of musical styles will be presented, at Jingqin No.1 Park, Zhongxin Plaza, Dinghao Plaza and Taipei City Hall Southeast Square. This 1+4 scene arrangement will provide a New Year’s Eve experience for each different age group. Additionally, the final major group, Accusefive, will “customize” exclusive performance content for Taipei, presenting a debut song rich in ceremonial meaning to welcome in 2024.
Mayor Chiang said that in order to provide the public with the most diverse New Year experience, this year, for the first time, the Taipei City Government has set up a diverse set of four stages in venues peripherals for the grand gala evening, each serving as a distinctively styled music venue. The Retro Golden Melody Party stage will be held in Jingqin No.1 Park. Here the program will focus on nostalgic folk music. Classical light music will melodiously accompany everyone in Zhongxin Square. Dinghao Plaza in the East District will bring Rock and Roll refreshments with a harmonious meeting of two major styles: the distinctive rhythms of Western classics and hipster rock. And the Southeast Square of Taipei City Hall will host a Silent Disco Party, with a limit of 500 people, featuring performances by specialty DJs in various genres. Members of the public are invited to join the party-goers wearing headphones to experience this discreet and unique celebration to the rhythm of light electronic melodies.
Mayor Chiang said that after the spectacular Taipei 101 fireworks display at midnight, super hot rock band Accusefive will present a cross-genre collaboration with internationally renowned orchestra Moment Musical. The city government also specially invited Accusefive to create a new song rearrangement for Taipei, to be combined with a new MV, dedicated to this city of infinite charms. These will certainly mark the start of a second big highlight for Taipei’s New Year’s celebration after the booming first, the spectacular fireworks display.
