Startup Vietnam Foundation (SVF) accompanies Youth Business International (YBI)’s Rapid Response and Recovery program sponsored by google.org to provide resources to support small businesses impacted by Covid-19.
The global economy is going through a recession caused by the impact of Covid-19. Low profit is the issue causing damage to micro, small and medium enterprises. The most severely affected group belongs to the community that does not have many support services. Young people, women, business groups in underserved areas are the groups that struggle to survive and they need immediate support.
According to Ms. Ho Thi Minh Thi, Marketing Director of EM&AI company, “Because of the Covid-19 impact, our potential customers have started to tighten their spending. Sales becomes more challenging. It is also difficult for our company to find programs, support services, and advisors that help us grow our business, security, and legality.”
To support business recovery, SVF will implement the Rapid Response and Recovery program in Vietnam within the global program of YBI. This program is sponsored by google.org, which focuses on supporting Google’s community volunteer activities.
