Regarding safety, Shanghai Electric received a certificate of appreciation for its exemplary HSE performance in the Noor Energy 1 solar project, a 950 MW CSP and PV hybrid solar power plant that of Dubai Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The team safely completed 15 million man hours by identifying security risks, meticulously planning major operations and implementing robust risk control measures. Strict safety protocols for contractors ensured comprehensive oversight. The department is committed to continued vigilance and optimization of the system to support the stable operation and long-term sustainability of the project. The Company also obtained certification for 3 million safe working hours at that of Oman Independent solar power plant Manah-1. Shanghai Electric’s 800 MW Rupsha Combined Cycle Power Plant Project in Bangladesh obtained certification for five million safe working hours. Environmental protection
The Shanghai Electric waste-to-energy plant in Selangor, Malaysiawon the annual Excellence in Environmental Management Award from the Selangor Environmental Protection Office. This recognition, along with eight previous environmental management awards, highlights the project’s commitment to sustainability. As Selangor the first waste incineration power plant, the project attracted significant local attention. In from Pakistan In the Thar region, where educational resources are scarce, the Shanghai Electric project team donated 1,221 sets of textbooks, school supplies and buckets of drinking water to local schools, meeting needs critical shortages.
