Senior XDA Member kacskrz may have discovered a complicated rebadging scheme for Xiaomi / Redmi / Poco flagships while spying on build setups. All of this centers around the new K40 series.
We have already seen in the FCC documents that the Redmi K40 will be sold under the name Poco F3 around the world. However, these new findings suggest that the K40 will be renamed “Xiaomi Mi 11X” for the Indian market instead of using the Poco brand.

This X mark will also be applied to the Redmi K40 Pro, which will be known as the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro. Note that these are not related to the Redmi 10X and 10X Pro. Either way, here’s a twist on the plot.

The top-of-the-range Redmi K40 Pro + will instead be dubbed the Xiaomi Mi 11i, perhaps a sequel to the Indian Mi 10i (itself based on the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G). It seems a bit quick considering that the first Mi 10i units were sold two months ago.
The Mi 10i and the K40 Pro + aren’t that different – both have 120Hz displays, 108 MP cameras, and 33W fast charging, but the ‘Mi 11i’ is a huge upgrade to the power of processing (Snapdragon 888 versus 750G), also display switches from IPS LCD to Super AMOLED.

Note that the code name actually says “haydn_pro_global” – this suggests that the Mi 11i will in fact be sold in international markets, which will confuse matters even more. Also, this is the first time we’ve heard of the K40 Pro + globally (the Poco rebranding only covered the vanilla and Pro models).
