Realme has unveiled the first two models in the Narzo 30 series – the advanced Pro model and the 30A budget option. The Narzo 30 Pro is the first in the family to support 5G networks and the first to have a 120Hz display (previous generations had a few 90Hz phones).
The Pro model focuses on gaming, camera quality, and fast connectivity, while Phone A is aimed at the budget-conscious and relies on a large 6,000mAh battery instead.
Realme Narzo 30 Pro
The Narzo 30 Pro is the “most powerful 5G gaming mid-ranger,” according to Realme, which is a lot to put on a single device. At the heart of that promise is the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, which features two 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 cores (and six A55s) plus a Mali-G57 MC3 GPU.

This GPU will repaint the 6.5 ”1080p + screen up to 120Hz. Switching between 60Hz and 120Hz is automatic and content dependent. Games that require fast reaction times will benefit from the 180Hz touch-sensitive sample rate. The LCD panel is rated at a maximum brightness of 600 nits.

The Pro model is equipped with a 48MP main camera on the rear. The sensor sits behind an f / 1.8 lens and features 0.8 µm pixels with 4-in-1 binning support. Low-light performance is further enhanced by Super Nightscape mode. When it comes to video recording, the camera offers 4K 30 fps and 1080p 60 fps, as well as cinema mode (21: 9 aspect ratio) and digital image stabilization (UIS video stabilization).

The 30 Pro is the first 5G phone in the Narzo series. It supports dual SIM, dual standby operation and downlink speeds up to 2.34 GHz. The card slot also has dedicated space for a microSD slot if you need more storage. As standard, the phone comes with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage (UFS 2.1), but there is an option to upgrade to 8/128 GB.
The 5000mAh battery can be filled to almost 50% in 25 minutes using the supplied 30W charger, 100% charging takes 65 minutes. A full battery will last 37 hours of calling or 18 hours of binging on YouTube videos. Note that USB Power Delivery is supported at 15W.
