Tokyo,, February 13, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Polyplastic Co., Ltd., a world leader in engineering plastics, launched RA627P LFT (R) LFT (Long fiber fiber composite of polypropylene resin (PP) and a long cell of cellulose cellulose long cellulose resin of the long cellulose cell (PP) and long cell cell which offers low density, high rigidity, high impact resistance and excellent damping for a range of applications, Y including audio components (loudspeaker diaphragms) and industrial component boxes.

The development of plastron (R) LFT RA627P strengthens the commitment of polyplastics to reduce the environmental impact of its materials and to cause a sustainable society. Thanks to its regenerated cellulose fiber content, the RA627P plastron (R) has a reduced carbon footprint – about 30% less than that of the PP resin at 30% in 30% fiberglass. The new LFT is a pp resin composite and a cellulose fiber of 30% uninterrupted long of the same length which is oriented in the same direction. The regenerated cellulose fiber has strong resistance and elasticity thanks to unique spinning conditions and the polymerization of gross cellulose materials.
The RA627P RA627P plastron offers a density of approximately 10% lower than the short -glass fiberglass PP resin approximately 30%, while maintaining the same flexion module. The material also has a specific level of rigidity which is higher than that of the PP resin reinforced by short fiberglass at 30%, with a significant loss coefficient at the same time.
The properties of specific rigidity and significant loss coefficient generally have an inverse relationship, but the RA627P plastron (R) offers an excellent balance of these properties, which makes it adapted to the components of audio equipment such as diaphragms of speakers that require this balance.
