Readers of travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler have named Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) one of the 10 islands worth visiting in Asia.

Recently, Condé Nast Traveler (CNTraveler) travel magazine announced its 35th Readers Choice Awards list across many different categories. In the list of 10 most popular islands in Asia, Phu Quoc got nearly 90 votes, ranked 6th. Pearl Island is also the only representative of Vietnam on this list.

Meanwhile, Boracay Island (Philippines) tops the list with about 95 votes. Another island in the Philippines, Palawan, also entered the top with an 8th place.
Thailand contributed the most with 3 representatives, Koh Samui, Phuket and Phi Phi Islands with 3rd, 5th and 10th positions respectively.
Phu Quoc is the only representative in Vietnam to be honored in the top 10 most favorite islands in Asia, ranked 6th.
The Readers’ Choice Awards are Condé Nast Traveler’s annual awards that honor the world’s best destinations. The results are based on reviews from travelers around the world. This year, the event received nearly 250,000 votes.
In July, Phu Quoc Island was also named in Travel + Leisure magazine’s World’s Best Awards 2022. In the highest island category in the world, Phu Quoc (Kien Giang) is in the top 25. Pearl Island is also the only representative of Vietnam in this category.
