Regarding academic collaboration this year, Mr. Tsoi added that “ParticleX places particular emphasis on key innovations emerging from academic institutions. Although university R&D teams undoubtedly possess a wealth of promising technologies and concepts, they may lack the experience and resources needed to successfully commercialize. ideas. Therefore, this edition of PUGC specially invited all innovation departments of universities in Hong Kong to participate. The aim is to facilitate more connections between academia and industry by providing testing grounds. By gaining user feedback and real-world experience when applying their solutions, university spin-offs can refine ideas and bring them closer to implementation. We are delighted to see the Hong Kong Government’s implementation of the One-plus Program for the Research, Academia and Industry Sectors (RAISe+ Scheme) by generously funding the R&D projects of universities and By encouraging investment from institutional investors in return, we believe that the RAISe+ program will stimulate the dynamics of the technology community, paving the way for continued innovation. »
