We recently posted our written review of Redmi Note 9T and now it’s time for our video version. It’s the brand’s most affordable 5G phone at just $ 229, but is it good enough to meet your everyday needs and how does it stack up against your competition?

The Note 9T features a plastic body with a nicely textured finish on the back. The build quality is solid and you certainly get a heavy device weighing 200 grams. The 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen is decent in daylight environments, although color reproduction and maximum brightness leave a bit to be desired. The panel sports FHD + resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset paired with 4GB of RAM performed all daily tasks very well and offered similar performance to the Snapdragon 690 phones we tested. Battery endurance was excellent in our day with the Note 9T, as it hit an impressive 118 hours in our proprietary testing. On the back, the 48MP main camera provided good detail preservation and adequate dynamic range while maintaining decent color accuracy.
