Most-Used Apps Tracking
The first thing that you need to do is to turn on Apple’s Screen Time. It is a feature that is built into iOS and iPadOS.
The Screen Time feature helps you know how you use your iPhone daily, and it also helps you put a limit on your app usage. According to How to Geek.
To enable Screen Time, open the Settings app on your phone and click on Screen Time. Tap on Turn on Screen Time and choose This is My iPhone or This is My Child’s iPhone, depending on which option suits your situation.

After which, you will see a Screen Time summary page, and it will not show any data. The catch with using the feature is that it needs to be enabled in order to start gathering data about which apps are used the most.
If you just turned the feature on, it won’t have the data that you want just yet, according to Pocket Lint.
After enabling the feature, use your iPhone as normally. After a while, you can go back to the Screen Time page, and you should be able to see some statistics.
You can do this for months if you wish, just to get a clearer picture of which apps you use the most. If you believe you have gathered enough data, you can go back to the Settings app and click on the Screen Time feature again.
On the summary page, you should be able to see a chart that shows your average daily activity. Under the chart, you will see a See All Activity option.
You can tap on that if you want to see your most-used iPhone app over a certain period, as it gives you a choice to go over a period of a day, week, month, or even a year, according to The Verge.
Scroll down to the Most Used section, and you will see a list of apps that are sorted by which you used the most over a certain time period.
You have the option to explore the data from there. You can tap Show More near the bottom of the list to expand it.
If you choose Show Categories, you can also see your most-used apps sorted by broad categories like Creativity, Social, or Shopping & Food.
Taking Action on your App Usage
While browsing the Most Used list in Screen Time on your phone, you can get details on how much you have used an app by tapping on its icon.
While on the screen, if you wish to limit the time you spend on a certain app, you can click on Add Limit.
After that, you will see a screen where you can limit the usage of your app in hours or minutes. As soon as you are done, you can tap Add.
When that is done, you will see an alert on your screen when your time is up in using an app.
