Luckily, the Argentine striker sits out in the training as he just came back with the team from the international break. A heavy schedule prevented Lionel Messi from having a needed break, and he was allowed to have a day off from training. Besides him, Frenkie de Jong and Miralem Pjanic are also permitted to sit out in the training.

The French striker arrived at the club from Athletico Madrid with a transfer fee of more than 100 million euros. Rakitic confessed that playing with Messi was a remarkable experience of any players. “One hundred per cent football. It doesn’t matter who you are, you just have to watch and enjoy this guy. He’s on another level,” he said. The Croatian midfielder has played belongside Messi in 311 games, and he said that it was a dream.
Unlikely to the accusation of Spanish media, Rakitic believed that Messi is the number one player and every players can learn something from him.
