SINGAPORE,, May 12, 2025 / PRNEWSWIRE / – The Asia -Pacific Initiative on Reproduction (Aspire) – The advanced expertise of the exploitation of the body in assisted design throughout the region – will embark on a major program of public education and awareness of the health of fertility.
It also strives to expand its role of advocacy for patients thanks to a narrower commitment with governments, decision -makers and public influencers to highlight problems to which a couple in six experiences infertility.
Aspire President and Pakistani fertility specialist, Dr. Latif Haroonsaid the objective was to create a better understanding and answers to problems that have an impact directly on those who live with infertility, in particular by providing fair and affordable access to treatment and dealing with the psychological involvement of the fight to design.
Newly raised to the presidency aspires, Dr. Latif said that the bases had been laid for these initiatives by emphasizing practical strategies to advance fertility services in the Asia-Pacific Region and improve the quality of care for patients for those who strive from parenting.
“This has become an essential problem as a region, and the world, faces alarming falls in total fertility rates that threaten the population replacement levels and the probability of major socio-economic ramifications,” he said.
“Aspire has created a population of sustainability of the population to solve these problems and help stimulate our priorities for engagement with fertility care providers, patients and those who have an influence on public health policy.”
Dr. Latif said that this was particularly important in countries where low resources have greater challenges in the quest for family construction.
“We recognize the challenges through the geographic immensity of the region with its socio-economic and cultural diversity, but the task to be accomplished is essential to promote awareness of fertility health and the best results for patients,” he explained.

- American society for reproductive medicine;
- International Federation of Fertility Societies; And
- Global Andrology Forum.

Dr. Latif is clinical embryologist and specialist in sexual health, director general of the Lahore Institute of Fertility and Endocrinology and Managing Director of Hameed Latif in Lahore. He is secretary general of IVF Society of Pakistan and a founding member of Pakistan Society of Andrology and Sexual Medicine.
