Knight-Hennessy’s cohort of scholars represents 25 countries and 46 higher education programs across University of Stanford.
Stanford, California.,, May 14, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Knight -Hennessy Scholars at University of Stanford Today has announced its 2025 cohort of 84 new researchers. This eighth cohort includes students from 25 countries which will pursue diplomas in 46 higher education programs in the seven higher schools Stanford. For the first time, the cohort includes scholars with the citizenship of Cameroon,, Haiti,, Kazakhstan,, Spain,, SudanAnd Tunisia.

Knight-Hennessy Scholars is a multidisciplinary program of higher education scholarships in the seven schools in University of Stanford. Knight-Hennessy researchers receive up to three years in financial support to pursue higher education Stanford While engaging in experiences that prepare them to be visionary, courageous and collaborative leaders who fall under the complex challenges that the world is confronted. The researchers are selected according to their demonstration of the independence of thought, deliberate leadership and a civic state of mind.

Knight-Hennessy’s scholars are developing while emerging leaders who have committed to the greatest good and the tools necessary to stimulate a significant change. THE King Global Leadership Program is an essential part of the experience of Knight-Hennessy scholars, offering a wide range of workshops, conferences, projects and experiences that complete the higher studies of academics, helping them achieve their leadership objectives.
Among the 2025 researchers48% have a non -American passport. Fifty-three percent of American researchers identify as a person of color and 11% served in the American army. The researchers obtained undergraduate diplomas in 58 different institutions, including 20 international institutions and 20 institutions represented for the first time. Eighteen percent are the first in their families to obtain their university degree. The eighth cohort carries the total number of stock markets to 597 to date, starting with the inaugural cohort registered in 2018.

Knight-Hennessy’s cohort request will open June 1, 2025and is due October 8, 2025.
