Under the theme “FUTURE VINTAGE — Transporting memories of the past to the future, new creation”, various programs take place mainly in nine iconic districts of Tokyo.
TOKYO, March 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Tokyo Creative Salon Executive Committee will host TOKYO CREATIVE SALON 2026 (TCS 2026) for 10 days from Friday, March 13 to Sunday, March 22, 2026, mainly in Akasaka, Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Nihonbashi, Haneda, Harajuku, Marunouchi and Roppongi. Entrance is free.
At the heart of TCS 2026 is the City Wide program, where the experience itself – encountering creativity while exploring Tokyo – becomes the content. Anchored in the festival theme, each space draws on its own history, culture and character to showcase creative content in fashion, design, art and craft.
Citywide Program: Area Concepts
Akasaka — “A sophisticated social hub that continues to evolve while preserving its heritage”: tradition reinterpreted through new creations linking past and future.
Ginza — “A city that inherits tradition and creates the future through continuous evolution”: walks and practical programs in cultural and commercial places.
Shibuya — “A crossroads at the cutting edge of technology, where trends converge”: initiatives focused on urban fashion that reflect the avant-garde energy of the neighborhood.
Shinjuku — “FUTURE VINTAGE SO/ME/RU SHINJUKU”: dyeing and vintage programs showcasing forward-looking creativity.
Nihonbashi — “Nihonbashi Open Craft”: crafts as a living culture, experienced while walking around the neighborhood.
Haneda — “FUTURE BLOOM JAPAN — Traveling with cherry blossoms through the beauty and craftsmanship of Japan”: exhibitions and experiences reframing regional skills and culture on Japan’s doorstep.
Harajuku — “Harajuku, where street cultures intersect”: participatory programs that spark fashion and culture encounters as you explore.
Marunouchi — “A sustainable creation born from a city of work”: easy-to-reach, sustainability-focused experiences in a business district.

TCS 2026 will also present two official initiatives at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza from March 13 to 15, 2026. Tokyo Vintage Fashion Weekthe world’s first vintage fashion week, features a vintage market with around 100 boutiques and fashion shows showcasing the “historical context” and “stories” embodied in vintage clothing. Focus exhibition “Tokyo Trace” explores the traces of Tokyo embedded in a designer’s creative practice; its first edition highlights “NOMARHYTHM TEXTILE“.
