The iQOO 7 has managed to fend off new challengers for the performance crown in the AnTuTu rankings for February 2021. The flagship equipped with the Snapdragon 888 retains the top spot, despite a slight drop in average points.
The vivo X60 Pro + took on a tall order and lost by the slimmest of margins – just 14 points. As the averages change, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the X60 at the top next month. Note that AnTuTu rankings are based on the average of multiple results rather than the individual best score. As more sample points are collected, the average changes slightly.
Another newcomer, the Redmi K40 Pro, came in third place, just ahead of its sibling, the Xiaomi Mi 11. If you keep the score, that’s four Snapdragon 888 phones up front. And everything is Snapdragon in the list, with the sole exception of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro powered by Kirin 9000, in 5th position.

One chipset we’ve been curious to see is the Snapdragon 870 – a bloated 865. The Redmi K40 led the 870 in seventh place, ahead of the older 865 models, but behind the newer 888s. That’s pretty much where this chipset wants to be, an option for not quite high-end flagships. .
Moving on to mid-rangers charts, the Redmi 10X 5G and Redmi 10X Pro 5G retain their leading positions with the vanilla model extending its lead over the Pro. Third place was won by the new vivo S7t. All Top 3 phones are powered by the Dimensity 820.

This pushes the Huawei nova 7 5G and nova 7 Pro 5G down one place (the Pro managed to get ahead of its vanilla sibling, it was behind last month). The two novas are examples of phones powered by Kirin 985. In fact, the 985 powers phones in 8th place where another Kirin appears in a few Honor phones.
