The first cruise ship to bring tourists to Da Nang by sea after more than 2 years of interruption due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
On the morning of October 9, the Da Nang Department of Tourism organized a welcoming ceremony for the tourist cruise ship Le Laperouse (France) to dock at the port of Tien Sa.
A 5-star cruise ship brings more than 100 international tourists to Da Nang. They come from countries like France, USA, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland… During a 1-day stay in Da Nang, visitors will enjoy and take souvenir photos at tourist attractions in the area.

Mr Nguyen Xuan Binh, deputy director of the Ministry of Tourism, said it is the first cruise ship to bring tourists to Da Nang by sea after the interruption caused by the Covid-19 epidemic.
“The La Lapérouse train that is restarting cruise tourism after more than 2 years of interruption due to the Covid-19 epidemic is a good sign for the recovery of tourism in the city,” said Mr Binh.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, La Laperouse will continue to dock at Da Nang Port on October 16 and 29, allowing visitors to choose from 3 different sightseeing routes Ngu Hanh Son, Ba Na Hills Hoi An and My Son.
The superyacht Le Laperouse is known to be more than 130 m long, 18 m wide and 28 m high, manufactured by shipyard VARD in Norway. La Lapérouse is presented as an environmentally friendly ship, modernly equipped with an open lounge and 5-star service.

Before arriving in Da Nang, the ship also docked in the port of Saigon on October 2. While traveling in Vietnam, this ship takes guests to Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), Tien Sa (Da Nang), Chan Mei (Hue), Hon La (Quang Binh) and Ha Long (Quang Ninh) .
