Watsonx AI’s capacities – the last of a collaboration of 30 years between IBM and the Masters – aim to offer a more personalized and engaging experience for millions of new and existing golf fans worldwide after all the action at the Masters tournament.

Analysis of more strategic shots with Hole Insights 2.0
IBM Hole Insights returns for its second year as part of the experience of track photos on Masters.com and the Masters application. The Driven Insights 2.0 AI operates Watsonx Technologies, including LLM granite, to provide data based on data around each shot taken on each national Augusta hole. This includes:
- Recaps based on the data of the way each hole played daily and throughout the 2025 tournament (For example, “n ° 14 played difficult today, with 25% of the scores resulting in bogies.”).

Reworked Masters Application on Apple Vision Pro
IBM and the Masters again give fans an immersive view of the action with the Masters application on Apple Vision Pro. This year’s update application offers fans of the lighter 3D visuals of national Augusta and new features such as Video is asking. Fans also experience return features such as Hole Insights 2.0 and AI narration.
With the Masters application on Apple Vision Pro, fans can travel different 3D views of each hole, explore dramatic elevation changes throughout the course and even look at several live flows from the tournament simultaneously.
