At the Arturo Fuente Cigar Factory, where the Fuente family has been crafting some of the world’s most sought-after cigars since 1912, Hublot and Carlito Fuente has unveiled its latest collaborative watch that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the OpusX, considered by cigar lovers to be one of the finest and most delicious cigars in the world. In what has become a tradition after 12 years of friendship, Carlito Fuente saw the watch for the first time, among journalists and friends of the brand, at the Fuente factory.

For the past thirty years, Château de la Fuente, the magnificent estate where the Fuente family has grown tobacco leaves and handcrafted their coveted products. Source Source OpusX (FFOX) cigars, Carlito Fuente decided to build the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, a much-needed school and health program, as well as an art academy, for the local community. Thanks to the foundations of the Art Academy, laid in 2019 and in which Hublot had the honor of participating, children receive the best education and support, while developing and nurturing local artistic talents. The Academy of Arts, which has already been operational for a while, was officially inaugurated on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of OpusX.

With a festive theme of gold and green, the 6th special edition series was created by Hublot and inspired by the priceless vision of Carlito Fuentethe creator of the world-renowned luxury brand Fuente Fuente OpusX.

And yet, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Arturo Fuente King Gold is radically different from all other previous editions. This is the first time that a Fuente has been made in a 42mm Classic Fusion Chronograph case, and the first with the case and bezel in King Gold. It also features a laser-engraved tobacco leaf pattern but only on the bezel.

The dial is a vibrant emerald green tone with a sunburst pattern finish and a gradient “smoky” effect that darkens towards the edges, adding contrast and depth. The anniversary version of the OpusX logo in gold and green is decorated with the constant seconds counter at 3 o’clock. The green tone of the dial matches perfectly with that of the alligator leather and the rubber strap.

Hidden in plain sight, like a treat reserved only for its owner, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Arturo Fuente King Gold edition features an elaborate case back. Made of solid 18k King Goldthe case back is engraved and lacquered with a special illustration of the 25th anniversary of the OpusX. Below beats the automatic chronograph caliber HUB1153, equipped with a 48-hour power reserve.
