Demonstrate the compliance verified with RBA VAP standards
Taipei,, April 1, 2025 / Prnewswire / – Hon Hai Technology Group (“Foxconn”) (TWSE: 2317) has completed independent and third parties from nine manufacturing campuses covering five countries, demonstrating, for a second year, a commitment in critical compliance and transparency in social and environmental responsibility by the largest supplier of electronic services in the world.
No priority conclusion was mostly evaluated in the audits led under the Validated assessment program on responsible affairs (VAP RBA)A standard of industry that recognizes the commitment of a factory to social and environmental responsibility and focuses on the verified closure of the problems identified in an evaluation of VAP.
The audits covered Foxconn manufacturing sites in China,, Vietnam,, Malaysia,, India And Mexicoshowing an overall compliance rate of 89%. The Quang Chau campus in Vietnam Giang tank the province was recognized in a Level of money Under RBA VAP, outperforming the average score in the local industry.
According to RBA, customers, investors, governments and other stakeholders consider the verified closure of essential audit results to demonstrate compliance with their requirements. To improve sustainability in Foxconn operations and serve as a global model on best practices, the 2024 audits also focused on campuses needing third -party controls based on a complete evaluation of their operational complexity, their size of employees and previous recordings in third -party audits. Audit areas covered labor rights, health and safety at work, the environment, ethics, management of the supply chain and interviews with 1,067 employees. The total scope included 210,000 employees and took the equivalent of 96 days of man.
No priority conclusion has been evaluated, with the exception of priority non-compliance in the management of the supply chain due to the overtime of an outsourced service provider, which was addressed. Conformity rates for the environment and ethics have each reached more than 97%, while those of the workforce, health and safety and management of the supply chain each reached more than 80%. The results have indicated the need to strengthen the management of the workers ‘workers’ ratio, overtime, calculation of social insurance and payment of time dismissal, as well as attention to the work environment in India.
