IAE (HK)announced the winners at the awards ceremony held on December 20 at the Kai Tak campus of HKBU.
The first prize of this international art event, the first of its kind in Asia, was awarded to Miss Erina Yoshimura, a very talented young artist representing the Kyoto City University of the Arts, Japan. For a complete list of award winners, please refer to the attached document

Two awards for Hong Kong artists were also presented during the ceremony. Miss Lau Jin-ki from the Hong Kong School of Art received the Art Futures Award from the “Chan Kwan Biu Memorial Foundation” — Hong Kong 2023, and Miss He Chen from the HKBU received the Art Futures Award from the “Simon Suen Foundation/Sun Museum” — Hong Kong. Kong Prize 2023.
The awards program is dedicated to promoting and championing the achievements of outstanding emerging artists and celebrating the outstanding performances of recent graduates in the field of visual arts and related contemporary art practices in Asia.
The awards ceremony was enhanced by the presence of distinguished guests, including

To enable the public to appreciate the exemplary works of these young artistic talents, a selection of their exceptional pieces will be presented in Hong Kong from December 21, 2023 to January 14, 2024 at the Winners’ Exhibition at the university’s Kai Tak campus. . Although this is the first year of the awards, it has generated a considerable level of recognition and participation. Applications were submitted by more than 70 colleges and institutions from across Asia, including mainland China, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. .
The esteemed judges from around the world gathered at the HKBU and hosted two public roundtable discussions, sharing their insightful perspectives and inspiring experiences in the field of artistic creation.
