The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded contract Gammon CR173A – Supply and installation of mechanical services for Changi East depot
SINGAPORE, December 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Gammon has been awarded contract CR173A – Supply and installation of mechanical services for Changi East depot for a contract value of S$136.6 million by the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
This contract, valued at S$136.6 million includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of key mechanical systems including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Building Management System (BMS) and Fire Protection Systems (FPS). The project is expected to be completed in 2030.
The Changi East depot, located in the Changi East industrial area, will serve as the main facility for the Cross Island Line (CRL). This project marks a new milestone in Gammon’s long-standing partnership with LTA.

LTA encouraged Gammon to continue adopting innovative technologies to further improve on-site safety and productivity. The LOA signing ceremony took place in the presence of senior members of LTA and the Gammon project team.
