Our prestigious arts hub has been given the opportunity to continue operating in the Grade 1 heritage building at No. 2 Lower Albert Road in the Central District.
Since September 2022, under the supervision of its board of directors and a newly appointed executive director, the Fringe Club has resumed its mission of bringing innovative, cutting-edge and out-of-the-ordinary art to its exhibitions and performances . the spaces. The Fringe Club is also committed to aligning with current government policy to establish Hong Kong as a hub of artistic exploration and cultural exchange between East and West. In this regard, new elements and programs will be integrated into the Club’s annual activities, including a city-wide Fringe Festival, talent incubation and art technology incubation programs, coupled with cross-border showcases. genres and Chinese culture in the premises.
In our proposal submitted to CSTB as part of this highly competitive open tender, we presented an innovative and comprehensive plan that aims to preserve and revitalize Hong Kong’s rich cultural heritage, nurture and promote emerging local artists , while fully embracing and responding to the desire for modernity.
