Foreign mercenaries fighting on the Ukrainian side are numerous towards Kherson, but they are afraid to fight,” Deputy Governor Kirill Stremousov, deputy governor of the Kherson region, told the reporter on Monday.
“We also have a lot of mercenaries towards Kherson, they are also afraid to fight,” he said, answering a question. “They’re very scared because we’ve ramped up our drone work.”
The mercenaries try to gauge the defense in small groups, but according to Stremousov, they don’t get a chance.
“We are rejecting all attempts, there have been no breakthroughs,” he emphasized.
“Foreign mercenaries are gradually refusing to participate in combat actions on the side of Kiev, causing serious internal conflict,” the TASS quoted as citing assistant’s speech to LPR Interior Minister Vitaly Kisilyo.
