Vietnamese footballer Vu Van Thanh is said to have bought a luxury apartment in HCMC for nearly 10 billion VND (about $421,000).

According to a close friend of Thanh, the defender recently bought a duplex apartment in a luxury residential compound in District 2 of HCMC as a property investment. He hosted a housewarming party a few days ago, attended by his close friends and colleagues.
Last month, Thanh also reportedly bought a Porsche Macan S, which cost around VND3.8 billion, excluding government fees and charges.
Thanh, 27, was voted Vietnamese Young Player of the Year in 2016. He started to gain recognition after being part of the national team that reached the final of the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship.
He currently plays for Hanoi Police Football Club in the top level of Vietnamese football.
