St. Paul, mine.,, July 30, 2025 / PRnewswire / – In an important development in a legal dispute in progress, the American Bureau of Patents and Brands (USPTO) published a final rejection of all complaints in the American patent n ° 11 660 056 owned by Rampart IC, LLC linked to a radiation armor device. The decision follows a request for review by Medical eggInc., which argued that the technology covered with patent “056 from Rampart which had already been invented – certain examples dating from the 1960s.

The request for review of OUG Medical was born from a legal action filed by Rampart before the Federal Court in 2024, in which Rampart alleged that Egg Medical had broken his patent ‘056. However, after the USPTO has twice rejected all complaints in patent 056, the federal judge supervising the case suspended the procedure pending the outcome of the review. In July 2025The USPTO has published a final rejection of all complaints, citing several previous inventions, two of which were developed by Egg Medical.
“The remarkable part of this trial is that Egg Medical has never sold a product in the context of patent complaints now rejected from Rampart,” said Robert F. WilsonMD, CEO of Egg Medical. “Egg Medical respects the previous intellectual property. The USPTO rejecting complaints in the patent affirmed by Rampart ‘056 validates what we have said from the start.”
Gavin PhilippsSales manager At Egg Medical, added: “The trial was harmful to our company, because the Rampart sales team has sometimes suggested to customers that we are breaking their 056 patent – an assertion that has never been true. We are delighted that the USPTO has completely and repeatedly repeated all Rampart complaints, and we are very happy with our customers now.”
The Rampart IC can always respond to the final rejection or the call of the USPTO to patent trials and the call. However, after three laps and a radical final rejection, the Rampart options decrease.
