Technology for change in Asia will be held in Hong Kong on February 27-28, 2024 at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. This marks the start of a three-year commitment to bring the annual conference to the city.
The 3rd annual Technology for Change Asia was held in Singapore in March 2023.


Organized by Economist Impact and chaired by Tom Standage, deputy editor of The Economist, the event will welcome 60 technology pioneers to share thought-provoking ideas with an audience of 300 solution-focused executives from across the Asia-Pacific region. Two days of dynamic conversation will cover hot topics including artificial intelligence, Web3, DeFi and crypto, the future of work, and the Greater Bay Area (GBA)’s role in applying the technology to have an impact.

World-renowned thought leaders attend powwow to bring about change
A line-up of expert speakers featuring Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales; Michio Kaku, futurologist and popular science writer; and executives from Intel, Lenovo, JP Morgan, Amazon Web Services, Klook, EY, PayMe HSBC, Temasek, Tata Communications and more will gather in Hong Kong to dive deeper into how these technologies could reduce digital inequality and financial and transform the future. of work and talent, and shape the future use of artificial intelligence.
