Marking a strategic step for Duke -NU, promotion included 72 medical graduates in medicine (MD) – five of which also earn doctorates – and 27 doctoral candidates for integrated biology and medicine, quantitative biology and medicine and medical programs and clinical and translational sciences.
Among MD graduates, there were the first group of individuals emerging from the Duke-NU conditional admission paths with the National University of Singapore (Naked) and the University of Singapore technology and design (SUTD). These ways are designed to attract engineering talents, information technology and other undergraduate programs.

This cohort also includes the inaugural lot of graduates of the Master’s in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality (MPSHQ), the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. The MPSHQ focuses on the construction of very reliable health systems which are of coherent quality and safety.
The promotion of 2025 represents Duke-NU’s commitment to expand the skills and experience of our students, with 41% of MD and MD-PHD graduates having transmitted the mid-career of professions which include law, public relations, accounting and the support of peers in mental health. In addition, 58% of the class of graduates of 2025 are women, stressing the dedication of the school to promote diversity in the learning environment.
